It's crazy, how much a vignette and a good background texture can do for athmosphere! Unfortunately, I got stuck in the bottom right corner after getting a really sweet sword! Managed to fend of the skeletons but could not jump high enough to reach the platform. I also found the sword hitboxes a bit hard to understand. Maybe make the player's bigger and the enemy's smaller?
Still, a great Jam entry, I love collecting loot and boosting my stats!
Ah, now I understand! Considering the time restraint, you made a pretty decent level though. In the middle of the level, I dropped down because I saw a chest only to find I couldn't get up there. Thought it was a well thought out bait. No worries, wouldn't have been mad about getting stuck even if you didn't present me a good pun in the your comment.
Great enemy AI, character art, and easy to understand inventory.
