Bringing back pieces is a nice twist. It allows the player to continue the game even when they have no more pieces on the board! They might even win. The mechanics are really interesting to explore. I like the similarities with normal chess pieces moves such as the bishop, rook, king. Although I can kind of see a stalemate happening wherein the two players are not using their life points and just avoiding each other. A king-like piece that the player can capture or maybe some punishment for not using up life points would be good for this since it will allow for some tactics. It has a really cool concept.

Great idea ! 👍

By the way I also had another idea : When you kill an opponent's piece, your piece will gain 50% of the opponent piece's life points
For example :
- Your Rook has 20 life points stored.
- His Bishop has 10 life points stored.
- Your Rook kill the opponent's bishop.
- Now your Rook has 25 life points stored.

Interesting chess, maybe add more pieces? (It’s a jam, I know ^^) But the concept is nice!

I think 3 pieces are fine ^^

I think more piece can make the game go with infinite movements (well... that's actually the case👀)

I must raise up the cost of each pieces to avoid that and/or add a limited movement count 👀
