This is so much fun and I love the player sprite! My only suggestion is is that players should lose whatever gold and mana they don't spend when they start the next round (You'll need to adjust the economy accordingly). This forces players to progress, otherwise players can just grind blowing up the first building over and over and unlock every upgrade.

Really love this game! And because of that, I'll give a lot of constructive criticism, not to tear it down but because I could totally see this being a full browser game with a few tweaks.

I'll say what I like about the game first though.

The graphics were very charming, and I liked the little arm flailing animations. I'm also impressed you managed to add so many polishing elements like parralax and shader masks. The gradual progression was very satisfying and I felt so cool flying around as a completely OP bomb god of death. The progression felt similar to the old Miniclips games like Burrito Bison (which btw I liked that game).

Now the improvements:

- There isn't much feedback for when a player dies, and I often would not realize I had until I was booted back to the shop screen.

- There is not much contrast between the enemies and the wall, meaning I would often get ambushed by enemies and be completely confused, which also ties back into issue 1 because the combination was very jarring.

- Additionally, the enemies are sometimes in places where they can fall on your head, which isn't really reactable and feels like it's out of your hands when it happens.

- In the shop it should display the benefits you're getting from the upgrades, i.e. how many upgrades in each of the categories. Minor QOL fix but it would go a long way.

- There should be a button to instantly end the run (unless I missed it) because I upgraded my time a lot but ended up running out of bombs and having to wait out the timer cause I couldn't find an enemy to die on.

Again, I sat down and wrote this long bit of criticism because I really enjoyed the game and want to see it better, you should be proud of what you've done!

Very very fun game! The pause mechanic didn't really come into play much, and I really only used it a few rounds, but everything else about this game feels right at home.

I thought that this game was really fun! The sprites look amazing and the sound design really fits the presentation. I like the idea of playing the same area over and over, slowly upgrading to get to the end. The main thing I saw is that I barely ever used the time pausing mechanic while playing as it was kinda annoying and didn't do much to help me out. One recommendation is making an area to test out the mechanics before being thrown right into the game so I know where to use your mechanics. Overall it was a fun experience.
