Very cool and fun game! I really enjoyed the simple mechanic, the music and sound effect also fit the game really well! Congrats on your really good first jam! Great job!
Interesting to say the least, good music and visuals
Not too bad! It's a good start to a shmup game, but I have two comments: In this genre of game it should theoretically be possible to avoid all projectiles. As your ship is quite big and the enemies seem to shoot randomly, getting shot is out of your control. Also you miss out on some browny points from me by using existing assets (that are all over the place) instead of making your own. Keep it up though, you have skills!
They game idea is there but there ist a major point I would implement: You need to show the players the health of the enemies in a way, dont know what way but just a bar or something. I thought I couldnt hit them and just stoped trying.
but I mean its kinda a concept not to complicated but really oldschool nice.
