I’ve been feeling really pressured for time, and I’m afraid I won’t be able to finish. I’ll try my best, but is there any consequence for not submitting a game?
There is no punishment for not submitting a game - but you won't be able to submit your game after the deadline.
However you can update your game after release, so if you are feeling pressured you can release an half-finished version, and in the future update.
You will be judged based on the version you have submitted before the deadline, but it's encouraged to finish your game and polish it regardless.
