It's a good game, with nice atmosphere, but I got stuck when I got the tea... I couldn't figure a way out.
Oh, also the springs don't bounce you every time, but that's just a minor glitch.

This entry was alright. Nothing bad, nothing too good. It really didn't feel like it was made in 2 days. It feels more like a day, or a few hours. The graphics were really wierd. Sometimes it's a wall, and sometimes not. I was also very frustrated at the fact the game doesn't save the fact you have collected the headphones. When I kept dying, I had to go back and pick it up again.
Also, maybe an original character would've been nice. I don't think the few NPCs are from Undertale, so why not just an original character?
Over all, the game could improve by having a clear challenge or goal. That's one of the things I was mising here. Sure, I was missing my headphones and hat. But WHY do I need them? WHY would I want them? You realize this fact by the end of the game, but that's the end of the game. That's like gettig explained you need to eat breakfast in the morning after you've already put your food in your mouth. In my game, it's obvious. Your a thief, you want money, and you WANT that money because then you can buy upgrades. Didn't feel that here. Maybe something saying "Oh no! I lost my headphones... my powers are gone now!". The graphics also leave something to be desired. It's just white lines. Maybe you could've added an extra color?
Anyways, it's not bad. It's a fine game. I really hope to see you improve in the future!!! This is a great start!
Really cool and cute little game! When I saw the cover image for the game, I knew I just had to play it. The graphics in this game are phenomenal and the sound effects and music really bring it all together. The atmospheric environment is spot on but at first I didn't realise how to do the bigger jump type, so maybe some text for that would help. Overall, amazing game! Well done!
Short and sweet!
The 1-bit pixel style is very good looking, and I liked the way the platforms are just a subtle but still well readable outline - I could still tell where the walls were and stuff. The soft and wavy ghost animation was also good.
I did somehow manage to jump over the house at the beginning of the game, only to fall into the void to find out I wasn't supposed to go there. Good thing for death planes!
Also took me a couple moments to figure out the chest-like things were trampolines, but after that it was smooth sailing. Wasn't too difficult, but I still had fun long-jumping between platforms.
I like that there were upgrades implemented, as after you collect the hat and headphones you can move faster and jump higher. Made it feel like a more complete game. I also like how it gives the ghost some character. After they find the headphones, it moves faster, like listening to music makes them more energetic!
One thing to note, the two times the dialogue box popped up, for some reason the text doesn't start right away. I thought it was broken, but it was jump waiting for my input to start. Wouldn't it be better to just start printing the dialogue text right as the dialogue is triggered?
Beside that, it's a solid entry to the Jam!
