Wow! This game was absolutely incredible! In this time frame, this is an absolute knockout of a game, well done! The graphics and music were nice, especially the soundtrack speeding up. The sound effects provided a constant feedback loop which is always good and I found myself having a blast during this intense entry. Great job!

It was fun to play! I think this is a very good idea that, conveniently polished (as others have suggested), could end in a very enjoyable game. Liked quite a bit the aesthetics. Also, I am impressed that you developed and executed the idea in just one day! In summary, congrats for the good work.

Nice game, but it's way too fast paced. I was constantly running out of money, and the grid was a bit weird, I could only move diagonally on it.
But it was fun! I can definitely say that much! Well done!

nice art and sounds, but it was a little hard to understand the game, but aftera while I figured it out !

Grid control is quite finnicky but still fun and fast paced, unlike most tycoon games

Developer

Yeah we couldn't figure out a better way to handle the limitation >.<

Thanks for the feeback!

Having the music adapt to the already fast phased game creates panic :D Nice!

Developer

Thanks! It didn't end up as we wanted (because sometimes it sounds a bit weird) but we did what we could!

Pretty ambitious project for the limitation, respect for that ;D

Nitpicks:

- The grid system is a bit wacky with the current controls, and takes some time to get used the navigation (let's blame the limitation for that).

-also the money earning system seems to be a bit random/buggy, when some people give money but some don't? Are they freeloaders who are refusing to pay? I won't allow for that :D

-sometimes you get like 50$ per hotel, and sometimes 200$.

Other than that really cool project you've made in this short time! a bit more polishing and more buildings to make could get you far c:

I agree on the ambitious part hahaha in fact, we wanted to do A* path finding but of course that ended waaay too far out of scope xD

- About the controls, yeah we didn't notice until the very end of the jam about the weird diagonal movement just with the arrow keys, thats why we added the A-D movement between hotels, but still does not fix the issue hahaha

- The money earning is random yep, we implemented it that way because it added a bit of spice. Green people are the only ones who give money tho, red people are angry grandpa's that only damage hahahah. Yellow people are the ones that repair the hotels

- About the money in the hotel, each time you press W you get the money that that hotel has accumulated by hosting green people. So yeah, sometimes you get 50$ and sometimes 200$, it depends on how much money that hotel has at the moment.

Thanks a lot for the feedback!!
