I like the visuals and sound design, I wish it was more about using each tower!s respective specials instead of pressing the upgrade button.
I do like the way the resources physically moves along a pipeline, maybe you could have the player build pipelines and switches instead of directly controlling the towers.
enjoyable game! I liked your presentation a lot and the concept, shame about the balance being too easy :/ Would definitely play a post jam version! can see this being a lil mobile game also.
+ im a big newb, how do you calculate the missile to have all those differnt positions but find the same target?
Thanks for the comment! The missiles have saved the ID of the enemy to target, and they are always turning to aim at them as they fly. If the enemy is destroyed before the missile reaches it, then the ID will be invalid and the missile will travel in a straight line off the map. Finally, to keep things visually interesting, when the tower fires its missiles, it uses a random angle for each one.
the game is really fun but it could use a steeper difficulty curve but other than that I love how the resources have to be juggled between all the structures.
The game looks great and is also fun. The sound effects and such are satisfying. But there is no difficulty, we kill the opponents easily.
Oh yeah, balance suffered a lot, I was making guesses about the balance in the last 10 minutes. Originally I couldn't get past wave 5, now it's the opposite. Oh well. Thanks for the feedback.
The resource mechanic takes a minute to understand, the way it flows down the pipeline, but eventually I picked up on it. Makes for good strategy.
