This game features very unique gameplay and ideas, though the process can be somewhat challenging. Nonetheless, it is well-made and impressive.

thx you very much <3

I beat him! i actually quite enjoyed playing it, the art is nice, idea is interesting, and the gameplay is pretty fun.

but i feel like it starts off too slow and ends off too fast, maybe if you made the boss hp 5 and cut the first and last phases it would be more balanced. overall really fun game.

Developer

Thx you (= I'll try it out <3

Interesting idea.
I think that showing the next moves of the boss would make the game more interesting, as you'd have to strategize where to move next. Some ideas on how to do this:

1. you could use something similar to "onion skin" in animation programs, where the boss is shown as transparent and in a different color in his next position.

2. You could have a little board on the side of the screen that shows the next few positions of the boss.

Anyway, good job, keep developing and practicing :)

First submission I actually beat! A bit luck based, but sticking in the 2nd/3rd rows let me get enough coins to defeat 'em! Nice game

thx you <3
I have a quasion, what was your gamplay? like have you attacked when you could? or just waited at the first lvl antil you have inagth coins?

Submitted

My strategy was to attack 'em 2 times (after getting some spare coins), then move to either spot 2 or 3. Then I only moved one spot left or right when the boss was in the same spot I was. I did that for a bit until I got 15 coins to finish 'em off with 5 attacks in a row!

It has a smooth gameplay/movement flow, which is very cool. Its very random how you perform though as they boss movement isn't predictable and you have to hope to not get hit...
The idea is good, tough I personally wish randomness would be replaced with some kind of "future" prediction system or visual clue.

Developer

Thx you <3

The boss actually not completely random, it gose to the closest 3 tiles for you, and you don't have to do all your moves at the start (=

It would have a future feature but I didn't had time to add it )= thx you again for your comment
