Godot and Gimp, I would have used FamiTracker for audio if I managed my time better

Use of the limitation
Besides the basic action of walking left and right, the avatar is given up to 2 items each level. These items grant a certain number of uses of a movement ability. The idea was to have cool puzzle-y levels that require clever uses of the two abilities you are given. While limiting the player's solution space with durability too. I feel I was able to create a few neat levels, but time got the better of me. I feel I spent a little too much time on some of the animating and the content suffered.

the movement feels a bit slow personally speaking. but the implementation of the limit is spot on. certainly one of the best so far. its a great game. for some reason my favourite part is the couch animation, after a long day of jumping and dashing.

Loved this animation was nice and the platforming was surprisingly tight not one hundred percent sure about the hero part apart from the couch after a long day lol

absolutely LOVE the way you interpreted the limitation!! I thought your game concept was so clever and your execution was great. I really enjoyed playing this not only because it was fun, well done, and had great artwork, but also because the simplicity of the game play still allowed for really creative and interesting levels. Really nicely done!

As others have said, the animations are just so fun. The movement based ones are snappy and feel excellent. The little hop into the chair at the end of a level is very satisfying. I also enjoyed the platforming. Each room was a fun little puzzle to figure out. Some of the movement took time to get used to. Some of it felt a little unintuitive, but as soon as I figured each option out, the game was fun to play. The onlything really to be desired is some music. Overall well done!

This was great! I love how you utilised the limitation, it created so many possibilities for gameplay. The animation is excellent, I love the jump into the chair. Great variety of skills leading to cool movement combinations. The only thing I would say to improve the game is audio, but I really can't think of any criticism. Great execution!

Wow, this was so fun!

The use of items to expand the player’s moveset while simultaniously limiting their use for each level is such a great idea, and it allowed for some really cool level/puzzle design. Great work on the art department too, the animations are so snappy and well done.

Would love to try a post-jam version, keep up the good work! :)
