A wonderful and incredible game. I loved it)
creative game man, may i ask are you create those effect with only masking sprite, or are you using shader for create those effect?
So to create this effect I have an alpha texture, and where you tap the screen it sets the pixels on the texture to zero alpha.
Then I have a shader which multiplies the alpha texture by the alpha of the foggy window texture and that's applied to the sprite renderer.
I hope that makes sense!
thanks for the explanation
Cool idea! It definitely felt like the real thing. It would be cool if you added a squeaky sound too when you drag your finger! Also you could use it to reveal cool pictures in the background, maybe for an object finding game.
Cool idea. Makes me think about how to realize such a mechanic. Besides the fact, that it does not work so nice on grey background pictures, it is nice.
The incorporation of a nice ambient song for the background would have made it a little bit more enjoying for a longer time.
In terms of theming + limitation usage, pretty much spot on! Great for drawing amogus on a misty window without having to leave my desk, 10/10
