The idea is interesting!
As for improvements, I didn’t immediately understand how everything worked, especially the multi-layer approach—it could be explained or shown more clearly. I also had trouble telling which layer the enemies were on. Finally, aiming felt quite difficult and a bit frustrating.
Still, GG for the idea and building this whole complete experience—it looks like you did it solo, too!
It my first entry and I just ran with the first idea that came to mind . Also, i had to cut many things to make a submission this time (finally, smh lol).
Thank you for the feedback, much appreciated.
Insane how small this game file is. Maybe I'll try this engine.
I can see you are a phenomenal programmer, this is a very complex game, the art no so much but who cares, you can polish later.
I got locked in a deadlock where I have no integrity and all the enemies are in a different layer.
Also in the future add a way to recover life
Had a great time with it
Yes the art got stuck at the prototyping level: I rushed both the design and implementation so i didn't have time to finish everything i planned nor fix everything. Thank you for taking the time to try it out.
