I like the rhythmic development and slow build. The harmony has a nice dreamy quality to it. Neat sound playing the repeated notes at 2:30. This piece reminds me a little bit of Path Metheny Group. Something like "The Way Up"-I've drawn a lot of inspiration from him and think you may enjoy it too.

The opening chords set up a sense of anticipation. The notes flew like sparks drifting from embers. Just like a fire, the piece started small, swelled, and rose and dispersed. The directions the notes took felt like currents of fire and air. Shortly before the end, a log broke with a crack and shower of sparks. Imo this would work for both existential reflection and partying.

The chords in your intro are so lush! I love the suspensions and the movement to new chords with the lowest voice staying constant. I thought it was an interesting choice when you seemed to equalize everything higher and pan the piano and percussion off to the side, but then when the low register came in it all made sense and felt like a warm release of tension. Kind of like the party and celebration starts to set in. The progression of your ideas throughout the piece seem to slowly transform from one to the next and I felt like I was slowly transitioning from one image to the next. Great work and thank you for sharing!
