Comments/Suggestions about the jam
Note: the only assets not from me are Particles effect , and UE4 Mannequin, beside those they are from me
note2: there is no flying squirrel asset in game because i had less than 24h to learn how to draw a flying squirrel which is impossible.

i had a good time working on this, sadly i didn't focus a lot on it so i lost a lot of time... i don't think i have any Suggestions...

There's not a lot here to comment on. The squirrel was just a big white block - is there supposed to be art there? The background that was literally just "background" was amusing. My computer was constantly complaining about "lightning needs to be rebuilt," and my character kept facing right when idle. The attacks were hard to pull off due to the controls not working quite right. If I was moving it was OK. I hear that it takes a lot of effort to get an Unreal game in a playable state at all, so good job doing that much, but it needs to be developed a lot more in order to be competitive. Keep trying!

Thanks for the feedback !

so yeah the white block is a "place holder" since I didn't have any art for it sadly, "lightning needs to be rebuilt" is a unreal thingi think i forgot to built it with the rush sorry about this..
I need to fix those bug in future
thanks you again for your feedback

So it took me a while to get to this one. Unreal games murder my laptop so I ran it on my gaming PC.

On a side note I find it interesting how there always seems to be exactly one Unreal game in the jam no matter how big or small the jam is.

As you've stated this is a prototype, and a pretty barebones one at that.

Seeing the example robots being used as placeholders was kind of hilarious given the setting and content of the game. As for the rest of the graphics, I'm not personally a fan of the lowpoly style but I think it would be a reasonable art direction for the game.

Gameplay seems reasonable though it's hard to get a good feel for it since enemies attacking back hasn't been implemented yet. However, you don't stay facing the direction you last moved in, which makes aiming difficult. There's also something up with collision- I kept running into invisible walls.

I thought the premise was interesting although the writing in the intro was shaky. It was somewhat confusing to follow and had a lot of typos and errors.

All in all there's not much for me to talk about here. I will say that I'd be interested to see it continued. Do you think that's in your future or do you have other projects in mind?

Oh, Thanks you !

well that make me think that i really need to work on graphic settings so more ppl can run it.. yeah, i really like Unreal, I use it for everything even if its too much haha.
Yeah, doing asset take a lot of time so i tried to gain time by changing art direction for something with fewer details, well it kinda worked i guess.

Yes, I didn't have time to fix character facing, and adding enemies attack since, that something I added near end, I was foccused on other thing..

and sorry about collision its suposed to keep you in the right way, but the way I did it may not be that good.

writing is just weak point but i want to work on it, and have a better writing !

there is a lot of thing planed for this project, its another project that i want to continue with many others but the low poly style might make it more easy to work on than other ones!
thanks for feedback !
