Ranked from 8 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does your game fit the Magical Girl genre?
The magical girl is a star that absorbed the power of another star to break free from their orbit. Her very presence

Which theme(s) do you pick?
Freedom Dive, Pandora Paradoxx, (Didnt get included in Demo) Grievous Lady, World Vanquisher

How does your game fit those theme(s)?
It's less a dive and more of a free fall caused by the overflowing of power from her absorbing another star. This causes a her to fall down to earth, caused by her desire for freedom. Her doing this is sort of analogous to the opening of Pandora's box, but her actions in the pursuit of freedom cause her to be bound to the ground. I wont explain the other two themes since theyre not in this demo. Maybe in the continue it jam I will.

Were the assets for your game made during the jam? Elaborate as you see fit.
All of the assets and code were made by me during the jam.

Really cool game.
Would love to see the game fully made.

The stage 1 is poetic and beautiful (but challenging). And then the demo part is like a different game.

OMG! I like all the art from character to background to interaction between character and object to MUSIC!

That is really cool!

Wow! I really liked the Magical Girl concept in this game. The one playable stage really caught my eye too... there's something about it that was very atmospheric and charming.

I'll admit that when I played the demo stages, I was a little surprised as the tone was quite a bit different that what I had expected based on the intro stage. It's not bad , in fact it all looks good and the demo move-set feels very fun so far.  It's just a bit more wacky than I expected from the more somber intro . I did enjoy knocking that crazy bird around in stage 3 hehe.

I hope you'll join the Continue It jam, I'd love to see where this goes!

You'd be surprised how much I like having juxtaposed tones!

I figured that in order to fully show the range of tones that I intend to showcase throughout the game I could utilize a bit of wiplash ahhaha.

Dont be alarmed though! If you like the vibe of the first level then I promise you, as the game develops and progresses you will not be dissapointed.
