Game Description / How to Play / Controls
You have a gun...but no bullets. They're right behind you! Your only choice...is to run!

Sybil's run out of options, without any ammo and her enemies on her tail she has to try and get to safety. She can jump and her jetpack still works, but watch out for those gaps between the buildings, falling in one will be the end of you.

Buildings get taller as you make progress through the stages and there is a surprise that awaits you too, can you reach it?

You can play Sybil's Nightmare Run online here: https://atarigamer.com/lynx/play/SybilsNightmareRunAGPC2020/182024857?r=0

How to Play

You can't move Sybil left or right, but you can jump with B and start your jetpack with A. The jetpack has a minimum reserve energy requirement before it will turn on, but it automatically refills as Sybil moves through the stage.

Sybil can automatically jump up to certain buildings based on their height relative to where she is currently, but as the difference in height gets larger, she will become stuck unless you jump her over. Get stuck for too long and you'll be captured.

Sybil doesn't return to her usual position after getting stuck straight away - it takes a bit of time for that to happen, so be careful you don't get stuck too often.

Avoid all gaps between buildings or you'll fall.

Nice work.  No coyote time on the jumps... but, considering the jet pack, maybe it doesn't need any.  Should be a good game after more level tuning.  Level 1 is a bit long and dull and maybe level 2 as well.

Thanks! Yep the difficultly and coyote time needs to be tuned. I've had a tonne of suggestions for the 'final' release of this game. The competition version was put together in two weeks so I plan to spend much longer on the revised version, probably even adding some shooting and power up elements to it.
