How does your game fit the theme?
Our game takes the theme 'take a deep breath' and turn it into an advice to relax, implementing it into our gameplay (breathing as our main mechanic to help solve the maze) and story (overcoming anxiety, stress, depression, by taking a deep breath).

Yes! The use of video was really effective here! And the emotional state compared to a dark maze was quite compelling. Well done!

The way you use FMV is very well done. When I first started playing I didn't know what to expect at all. The way you transition from the video to gameplay, then back to video at the end felt satisfying. There is a clear beginning, middle, and end.

The main part of the game spent navigating the dark corridors is an interesting way to illustrate the feeling of anxiety and depression. The bright light that appears temporarily is a nice touch. Sometimes we don't know where we're going, but there are moments of clarity that help guide us. I think you showed that well here.

Excellent work, team!

Really nice experience. A dramatic story told with respect. The main mecanic is quite surprising. I think that sound is where this game finds its enemy. Maybe more variety of sounds and music could work better. Especially while breathing. Nevertheless, congrats for the effort. Nice game :))

Hi! Thank you for the comment. I would agree with your critique as I always find that sound design is quite hard for me to grasp.

I thought the idea was interesting, but I was constantly anxious while playing, fearing that a scary jump might appear in the game.

Hey! Thanks for the comment. That was what we aimed for with our game, making players feel anxious and stressed out.
