Awsome art, decently challenging. Def at the top of the games I've played so far. Would love a longer version if you decide to continue

Thank you so much! Glad to know you were able to get through that last level, we were debating whether or not it'd be too challenging. We salute you. Your dodging skills have served to skate past bullets and our potentially poor balancing decisions alike haha.

Now, I can't promise anything at the time of writing, but there may or may not be a longer version of this particular game — if not it's style and format — in the works for a later project!

This was definitely a game that after we finished building we were left with the feeling of: "You know, this might actually make a fun game style for a complete game someday. Hmmmmm.... Hmmmm indeed...."

Congrats on making it to the top of the jam! Maybe I play too many bullet hell games.

Cant wait to see the god gamer himself breeze through it! :D Good luck getting that bag!

Lagged my stream, looked pristine, movement clean, ending unseen!

Developer

Haha, sorry about that! Aye, we forgot to optimize it in the stress of trying to get the majority of it finished before the deadline. For a pixel art game, it can be quite graphically intensive at times. Thank you for giving it a go, and thanks for playing it on stream! It means more than we could express in a quick reply.

I really enjoyed this, every time I said "I think I've got this" I was immediately decimated. :) Also that freaking intro cutscene was WELL worth the effort you put into it.

I love the story and artstyle this game has. it was a stunningly experience ^^. I would like some kind of indication how much the waves are progressing cause at some point they seemed not ending but besides this minor detail i really enjoyed it and recommend it giving it a shot (i understand now why 430mb download...)

Developer

Yeah, you're absolutely right about the progress bar idea! ^^"

It was something that we heavily considered, but some technical components and a lack of confidence on where to put it put it on the backlog for just a wee bit too long, and then we ran out of time :/

For whatever reason, if the game gets updated after this jam, it'd be about the first feature on our list for sure!

Thank you so much!! ^^

Really great visuals and theme. I'm a sucker for 2D characters in 3D environments lol. The intro and outro are quite nice as well! The gameplay was simple yet fun and defiantly challenging later on. I did find a bug where if yo are dying, pressing space will stop the time slowing down and the game will continue to progress. So if you just span space after death you wont loose. Overall fun experience nice job!

Developer(+1)

Yep! We found that bug right at the end of development, but we couldn't quite figure out a fix to it even despite the two-hour extension period (while trying to fix the more immediately game breaking bugs). Good catch though -- glad to know we couldn't get away with it if we decided to take the idea further haha.

Thank you for playing, sincerely! We appreciate it to the utmost!

Thanks for giving a chance to this one! Hope it wasn't too-too difficult near the end if you got there; we were certainly debating how everything was balancing out.
