Excellent mood, loved it! With things like stuff flying away you can also change objects weight!

Loved the puzzles and sound design :)

Hey man, I just retried uploading my project, golden jungle, and I was wondering if you could give it a try and tell me if I did the uploading correctly. Thanks

Developer(+1)

For sure! When I'm home, I'll give it a shot partner ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž

Really solid game. Audio was probably the most impressive part. The environment was mid but the gameplay was superb. Like i said, audio was Perfect. Really enjoyed it overall even though i got stuck a few times xD.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so kindly! I appreciate it greatly! The environments were all done by hand with the modeling tools in UE5.2 so they're not super extensive, at least with my knowledge lol I know they've seriously upgraded it in 5.4 so once my current projects are done, I'll move up to the newer versions and practice at getting better at modeling. I have no idea where to even start with other modeling software like blender, but I'll need to learn eventually lol thanks for your time though, I'm glad you got it! ๐Ÿฅฐ

ye blender does make it a lot easier, but the learning process sucks tbh. You did great for what limited recourses and time you had. Defiantly one of the best games in this jam in my opinion

I really like the idea of the block puzzle. I loved the audio of the cassettes, great touch. I was fun exploring the ruins and it was nice to try and find the hidden treasure. Great turn around for a two week window. With the physics, from a learning perspective, does anyone know how to make it so things do not fly away when the player collides with the actor. I was cool seeing you had physics enabled but sending them barrels flying at the start was fun. I also came across so trouble when standing on a physics actor the character went crazy! haha all good fun though, are you going to add to this? Thanks

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed and I appreciate your time ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™ as for the physics, I do know they collide weird with the player capsule and I'll be totally honest, that was the last thing I enabled before calling it a night and uploading lol I only noticed when I test played and just decided to leave it. I'm positive a change the Angular and Horizontal dampening would solve it so they don't go wild, plus adding a tad bit more to the Mass probably would have helped. It was my fault, total over site in the last moments before packaging ๐Ÿ˜ฉ but again, thank you!

fun lights!!

Developer

Were they giving you some flickering as well? Seems to be a trend, I'm sorry haha thank you for playing! I'm curious to see what y'all are experiancing because I did add a Light Function to add a small fire flicker. For me, it doesn't look bad but I do agree the lantern is a tad flickery lol anyways, thanks again and I hope it didn't make it too unplayable ๐Ÿคฃ

I enjoyed it personally didn't have flickering but some cards do that. good work

Very Promising, wish the feedback was a tad bit more responsive, but visuals and audio are pretty great!

Developer

Thanks for taking it for a spin, I appreciate you! ๐Ÿค˜โค๏ธ

Interesting layout. Needs more player feedback. Such as the large stones moving sounds and more indication of what the switch I hit did exactly. Last, I was getting a ton of flicker from the lighting. My guess is that the Attenuation Radius needs adjustment. Shows some promise and movement was good.

Developer(+1)

I appreciate the feedback! I'll hit the drawing board for an update later on, primarily made it for the jam, but if it's promising enough I'd happily work on it more! Yeah the lamp lighting in particular when you're moving is pretty flickery, I have it set somewhere between 300 and 500 however, the intensity is really really low and I suspect that mostly. But again, thanks for taking the time to play through! ๐Ÿ˜
