This game has a really lovely art style and clean UI. The concept works well for the theme. I had fun sourcing different items for the merchants.

Developer

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. I underestimated how challenging the code would be for the systems I wanted for the game and I couldn't set up some elements. Much appreciated overall :D

really liked the idea, loved the 2d and 3d art. really cool submission! some npcs were broken and you couldn't sell to them though. you should definitely continue working on this game to make it more polished and fixed. good work!

Developer

Thanks! I didn't even know of that bug with the merchants until after the jam locked in the games so I couldn't fix it :(. Much appreciated on the kind words. I learned a lot with inventory and shops with this game.

also, while i was playing i found another bug: there isn't a limit to the name of your horse. i made it like thousands of characters long and it filled the whole screen with text. (incase you do want to continue development and need feedback

Developer

AHAHAHAH! HUGE thanks for that. I never considered that at all. Lol. I was more focused on the shop stuff.

I like how you combined 2D and 3D ,its really interesting,Great Job

Thanks. It was something I wanted to try to do. I'm glad it went well. Wish I had time to mess with lighting and atmosphere.

I like the 3D + 2D combination, as well as the use of theme. It's very creative. The idea of gameplay also has a lot of potential too. The player just moved a bit too slow for my taste, especially when you have to walk back and forth a lot. I also encountered an issue where an empty dialogue box and white square would sometimes appear when trying to sell.

Developer

Yeah, a few people caught that bug and I wanted to fix it but we are unable to fix bugs during this time, which is unfortunate.

Thanks on the visuals and ideas. I would have added a jog or run if I had time to animate it :/. I thought a travelling merchant was going to be a small scope idea...and I was wrong :P. Thanks for playing and your kind words.

Wow beautiful combination of sprites with 3d objects. Really left strong impression on me!

Developer

Thank you very much. It's something I wanted to experiment with since making 3D characters takes up so much time.

Very crisp and clean visuals, great work!

Thank you very much! I wish I had time to get some villagers walking around and some more individual sprites for the merchants. But life and coding slowed me down :P.

I really like the camera perspective you have here!

Developer

Thank you!

Hello, Interesting game. I think the concept is promissing. Great 2D art style. there is bug where you can sell items you dont have and still get money. Other than that good work!

Developer

Yeah, I'm looking at fixing that bug now. It's what happens when you try to add to the base price. A bug that carried over when I was trying to get a reputation system going to give you a wider range to adjust prices but didn't have time to finish.

Developer

Thanks :D

Very good art :)

Developer

Thanks MiniMelon. I was surprised at this small idea having too big of scope for proper setup. And a lot of life elements got in the way. It is what it is :D.
