Awesome entry, I thought!  Short and to-the-point.  It followed the jam requirements and I was even able to escape!  Great job with this one.  I can't wait to see what you do next, both for updates to this and other projects you tackle from now on.  Keep jammin'! :D

Thank you so much!

I loved the standing up intro animation. No clue how I would implement that myself other than manually coding it in.

Thanks! That is what I did, I just put a joint at the waist and rotated up the waist and then the legs up and the waist back, like the guy was sitting up and then getting up.

(Also your game was really impressive, I enjoyed it!)

Great showcase of what you can do quickly with Godot! Thanks for sharing the video tutorial, I'll be referencing it when I learn that engine. Great entry; very educational!

Cool 3D game! I can't wait to read the dev log thoroughly so I can make my own 3D game in the future. I was able to solve it once I realized how to pick up items. I got a little confused by the controls. Please add what the controls should be. Right clicking to pick up an item was not intuitive for me. Keep it up and I like to positive attitude in the dev log.

Thank you so much for the encouragement and the advice! I've added the controls to the description, great suggestion! (can't believe I forgot that!)
Also good point about adding a volume control, I should've done that but I made the game in a very short amount of time!

Glitched on me after the game was done and the credits came up. I enjoyed this simple puzzle game. Id like to see more levels. I had fun.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I wanted to add more levels but didn't end up having time unfortunately. Your game was great too!

I get that! It was the same for mine as well, even if not levels there was a lot cut from what was planned to meet the deadline. I hope you continue your game! Id like to see more!

enjoyed it but some crunchy sound effects and a thumbnail would go a long way :)

Developer (1 edit)

Yeah I couldn't quite get it done before the jam, once the entries are freed up after voting I'll try to wrap it up!

Edit: I realized I could upload a thumbnail. Also I did have sound effects and music, though they are pretty simple.
