@jscottk, I just got this from my friend:

When he didn't turn on the Rift before running the game, he only got 1440x900 as the maximum resolution. So it looks like you have to make sure to turn on the Rift before clicking the game because you'll have no 1920x1080 option otherwise.

And also thanks! The green alien hand with mesmerizing moving bubbles is my favorite part of the app :)

Hi @jscottk, sorry for the late reply. I thought itch.io sends emails every time there's a comment. Turns out they don't :P

So I'm a bit confused here since we built and tested this using the same Rift DK2 and runtime 0.5.0.1 as you.

What was the options on the resolution dropdown that you got? We used the 1920x1080 one.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to make this work with runtime 0.5.0.1. I did get it to display an image in extended mode on the rift, but the resolution of the Rift DK2 wasn't available in the dropdown so no resolution quite made it line up well enough to be usable. I did see the beautiful green alien/plant hand model out of one eye and thought it looked amazing! I would really like to make this work so if you have any ideas for steps to take, I'd love to hear them!

I'm using this runtime switcher to test older apps built with the pre-0.7.0 SDK: https://www.reddit.com/r/oculus/comments/3paivl/rtu_package_to_switch_between_oculus_07_and_05/.

Those homemade assets & sounds really makes an immersive experience. Good work!
