My sister. She's the person who turned me into a civil rights person, thing.

I used some long code bits from my other games, because it was really long. :/

This game was quite fun. The mechanics were clear very quickly. For me it was the opposite of what ClaytonWasTaken. I was done with the game in 1-2 minutes.

Developer

Glad to hear that! I think I should focus more on gameplay than the text I used.

If you were to continue to work on this game I would suggest using more assets to help the player familiarize themselves with the different dead ends. I was able to complete the maze eventually but I ran in circles for a while.

Developer

Oh, OK. Thanks for the reply, but I don't get what you mean, "familiarize". Do you mean, like adding different things to each dead end, and making them stand out from eachother? I can do that.

Yep, that's what I meant. So players can see something and know that they have already been there before. It wasn't too bad though since it was just one maze, if it were multiple levels with different / larger mazes I could see people getting frustrated. Just something to keep in mind if you work on the game some more. I forgot to mention in my first comment that I really liked the ending.

Developer(+1)

OK, so maybe in the future I should add a trail coming from the player.  But thanks for liking the ending!

There's something wrong with the game. The viewport seems messed up. I maximized the game window, and most of the game was off the screen, so I couldn't exit the first intro text.

I thought the same thing, but if you move your character (WASD) you can read the rest of the intro text.
