you play as a necromancer.

I really liked the game.

I think one of the things that frustrated me the most was colliding with my own skeletons (after you build a good set of army defenses it becomes way harder to walk around)

I couldn't play too long so not sure if I missed some spells but I think it would be nice to have some sort of tradeoff to the player

After the daylight you can in theory never move and just stay in place

You're never attacked by the enemies

It would be nice to have some reason to venture away from your "base" and come back (if this happens later in game sorry I missed it)

Overall I liked the game

It took me a couple of tries to get it and become mildly good.

I think it would be good to add a "skip night" button

At the early nights there's not much you can do and you just sit there and wait so skipping forward would be nice

I found the book upgrades a bit chaotic as I didn't realize the text was clicksble but it also took me a minute to understand how it works

I love how it looks and the aesthetics I think a small tutorial somewhere would go a nice way into making the gameplay less hectic

But overall I loved the game

Good job! I hope you optimize it and work on it more post jam!

wow.  just wow.  this is an amazing game.  it was so much fun, i'm literally still playing it.  it lags a bunch, especially between day/night (playing the web version).  and i seemed to have lost the "shadow" during the day?  making my minions stop being accesssable.  buuuuuuttttt, it's *Still* fun.

Really happy you found the game fun ! For the mininons, it's normal for them to not be activated and movable in the day : they act as defenses in the day that you must replace at night. But if you press shift you can activate minions nearby you!

thanks for the comment!

Oh!   Shift does it?   Sweet.  I got the mechanic introduced, but didnt realize it was button related.

Also, just curious, what is the point of the build item on the bottom?   I thought it would turn into a fence, but no.   I didnt notice it doing anything?

Also...   Ok. Maybe too much to ask.   But how about adding something that reauires multiple expensive pieces?   But then turns into a big boss-like monster?   Making a massive undead construct is a goal of mine 🤣

Hey! For the build item, they are different depending of which upgrade you have bought : one is a tower that attract human, one an archer tower, one explosives and one is a bumper which push humans in a direction (probably the one you encountered!)

For the big undead monster, we kinda already have one !! xD If you take the right upgrade in the book you can unlock a "giant" skeleton which is pretty big and powerfull!
hope it helps !

Woah kinda like a tower defense, or at least defending a base/the skeleton pit! I played on html so there was a bit of lag or bugs here and there, but still managed to play! The tutorial and the controls being in the pause menu helped out a lot ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧ Great game! The Goetia book was interesting to look through too, so detailed wah

thank you for your such nice comment!

Loved the graphics and concept! For me, the UI elements were a bit finicky but that might just be the HTML version. Additionally, I loved the soundtrack it was very professional.
