This was really fun! The hook mechanic is fun and I found myself playing around with it to see how much I could do with it. I guess the biggest complaint would be I wish there was a bit more! A more developed level and some polishing on the hook would make this game incredibly fun to play. Good job!

YAYY I BEAT ITTT, really fun game, the hook mechanic could be polishes as it was hard to use and felth like i was fghting the game rather than the level it self but cute art and overal good game, good job!!

Solid foundation across the board! I would encourage you to further refine your level design to make full use of your mechanics, not because there was anything in particular wrong with this one, just that I feel like there was still room for improvement to making a more memorable level (which is probably one of the hallmarks of great level design). The mechanic could of course also use a bit of fine-tuning as it was slightly janky at times but I appreciated you going the route of infinite health/no resetting except getting knowcked down as that made it feel less punishing.

Yeah when I submitted this I felt that the game was only okay. In retrospect I wish I focused more on incorperating  and fine tuning the hook and bouncing mushrooms.

I loved grappling stuff :P

It's not just a climber - and it's not just about spamming that click to keep going. About halfway through you really do need to time the grapple which is great on the gameplay. I liked that it's not as hard as other frustration climbing games, and there were plenty of good elements to dodge / try to use to your advantage. Nicely made!
