I really loved the idea of a puzzle game together with being able to build your own train line, the feature of being able to upgrade the tracks by joining them was a nice surprise.

As a 3D artist on my team i was very happy to see another 3D game in game jam with an a retro theme, with so many games in pixel art, great job with the modular tiles.

With a few more visual polishes and a fuller UI it could easily be a successful mobile game.

To improve the ux, maybe give the player small hints of the differences between the dark green tiles that are apparently is on a high ground on the terrain.

Thank you for the pleasant surprise and congratulations to the developers :D

Such a fun game. This would be perfect on mobile! I've always enjoyed these kinds of games, where it's just so calm. I don't know how you made the music, but it's relaxing and I love it! The rail upgrade mechanic is pretty cool, too! The only thing about that is that maybe there could be a way to separate the merged pieces in case you make a mistake. Besides that, good job!

Glad you enjoyed the game.

Funny that you complement the music because thats the only thing not created by me.

I think I said in another comment that I'd planned on making a downgrade feature to solve this. But, after thinking about it, I kindof like upgrades being perminent so maybe it just needs an undo button.

Very cool idea! I really enjoyed the constant reconfiguration.

I have two suggestions for you to consider.

1: Having the color coding on the ruggedness be a bit more intuitive would be good.

2: A 'Clear Tracks' button. Once your track piece count gets high enough the clicking gets pretty tedious. If you had an option to clear your existing pieces from the play surface into a toolbar or something, i think it would cut down on that.

Again very cool idea and well executed. Thanks!

Thanks, I appreciate the feeback I agree with both those points.

Your suggestion to clear tracks is a great idea somthing I didnt think of.  My intedented solution was to mass select groups of pieces, but as game jams go I ran out of time to incorperate it. But, if I continue this project I might have to incorperate that feature as well.

Time is the ultimate enemy haha

Very fun! I like your clever interpretation of the theme.

I was a bit confused when I was first dropped in, even with the explanation that's on the page. If you were going to expand on this I think a tutorial would be a huge help.

But overall, this is great work! This game begs to be expanded after the jam. I could definitely see it as a full game, and without massive changes!

I completly agree, a tutorial was on the todo list but was unfortunately cut due to time.

Love the concept, I want 100 levels and I want it on my mobile!

Out of all the games I played here so far, this is the one I spent the most time on! Such a creative use of the theme I love it.
