Thanks for your submission! I thought the colour scheme and character design were cute in this game. Unfortunately I managed to find a few game breaking bugs right away, and was unable to complete the game. For the room that I did play, I noticed that running out of ammo before killing all of the enemies locks you in. Perhaps spawning more ammo if the player has 0 bullets would be a way around that. Good start on your game :) Best of luck with future development.

This has potential, keep working on your skills and you'll do well! Like others said the main menu looked broken, meaning there was no text. I was able to play regardless, but I couldn't figure out how to get past the second level. Keep on developing!

i played your game and first of all i have to say i love the graphics you are very talented in making pixel arts the game looks great. The main charakter is super sweet and loveable.

When i opened the game i at first thought the game doesent work on my computer because of the messed up menu. I dont even know what the other options are for. Even if the time was limited it would have been better just writting start on the big button so you would know where to press. The contolls work very well and the enemies behavior is smart.

The gameplay is entertaining adding some music and soundeffects would be awesome.

I like your entry for this competition especially the graphics however i encountered severell bugs and/or not working things that i want you to know about when you keep working on the game:

---At one point as i beated all enemies on the first room i went to the room on the right and after that room i choose the path down then the game crashed.

---Almost on every run the ammo given isnt enough to kill the enemies and so you get stuck in the second or third room.

---The Item that is shaped like a plus cant be collected.

---In some rooms there isnt even a weapon to collect.

---The Up and down scrolling isnt very comfortable as you cant really dodge enemies when they are coming from those directions because of the limited space shown above/under your character.

I hope this will help you fixing some things and please dont think i was disliking your game i had a lot of fun playing it i just wanted to point some things out that can help you improving this project in the future as i have seen in other coments that you want to keep on working on this game.

Nice game, the artwork was nice! I was a bit confused however on one room where I didn't have any weapons to fight back.

in fact I'm almost complete the game now, but as I'm a beginner it ended up missing a few hours so I could complete some things.

I loved the artwork! I really love the gameboy color pallete :) My only suggestion is to maybe improve the UI and menu presentation. Anyways, this was super fun , great job !

This game is very different, I liked the gameboy art style in a small palette and the game being like a dungeon crawler, it was really cool but incomplete, for example in the menu...
