Hi!

I'm not overly experienced with this kind of games, so I can't really critique it, but really had fun with it!

I think you have a good writing style, it was a joy to read what's happening!  :D

One thing comes to my mind that can really elevate the experience is the presentation.

I don't know what kind of engine this game made in, so I don't know its limitations, but it would be cool if some of the actions would have some ambient sounds playing in the background, like when there is that hunting thing with the green skins, adding some distant battle sounds while reading that would really help to immerse the player.

And an other thing is "graphics", like making it to look like you reading a long forgotten warlord diary  :D So like gritty, thorn pages as background.

Thanks for the game and keep up the good work!

  • Overall: The game was really interesting.  I don't think I've ever played a game in this reading genre.
  • Fun: It was a lot of fun to read the world building and lore.
  • Visuals (Graphics):  The novel images were cool, I'm not sure what engine you use to make this, but perhaps if you can add more visual feedback (like turning pages, or text scales/makes sounds when you hover the mouse over it, etc.) it would make it more appealing to a broader audience because it is very static. Also a subtle paper texture as the background might look nice.
  • User Interface: This simple style does fit~
  • Audio: Some optional ambient sound, like wind or chill music might help set the mood. and as mentioned above interactive sounds would help to immerse the player. (Almost just feels like I'm reading a webpage)

Great work and keep it up! Please check out my game when you can :D
