need to make it more obvious in how to play. at first i thought the arrow was meant to be used to guide the marble to where i want it to be and not to pull it backwards, a guide on how to play at the start would be good

nice retro artstyle and music, bringing back the childhood marble game with style! needs a tutorial page or something bc I struggled with the controls for a min. the base concept is quite enjoyable though, I'd like to see how you'd develop it later.

best game

Nice idea for the story, cool art, and audio!

But maybe the story itself needs further narrative or something like a comic to express the idea better for us gamers. Another thing is, I was quite confused about what should I do with the marble at the beginning, making a guidance box for the game may solve this (and add the winning conditions!). It's also not clear about the game being a 1 or 2 player game.

Thanks for letting me play and good luck developing

Tried the game, fun for locals but the direction somewhat confusing at first. Also please add an option for the sound. As right now there's no audio, sound effect reduction volume.

Games's promising with more story

Neo Jakarta is an interesting setting, but the game can deliver the setting outside the actual gameplay itself. For example, an entirely different scene with background images or actual character showing something instead of just text. It's a lot of work, I understand so I give the setting a thumbs up for originality.

In terms of gameplay, you can at least make a panel or two showing the control scheme to act as a tutorial. I can't actually figure out if the speed of a marble was determined by the "length" of the arrow or the amount of time you you hold left mouse click.

Can't speak much for music or art because I'm a big idiot in that area, but I like the art style looking edgy and a bit futuristic. The text can be improved though, either by using just one font for everything or make clear distinction when each font are used (The "victory/lose" text is a mixed of two fonts).

Overall, a cool game with interesting setting and concept, with a need for a bit polishing.

Best of luck to all of you!!

Edit: The skills. I have no idea how it works and what it does. The GDD doesn't specify anything as well.

Nice one, yang kurang hanya audionya, masih terasa nusuk ditelinga, coba diperhalus lagi

The game... works, but why would I play this game compared to do actual curling on ice? At the very least, where is the CPU?

Developer

on works for that

The relevance of the story with the game isn't well executed, it's as if the story is just there to entertain the player with no intention.

The controlling itself is OK but the UX is terribly bad, especially regarding the cursor direction which in the end apparently works as billiard game. Player can't also measure the pull speed of the marble.  It's also said that right mouse can be clicked but it doesn't do anything whatsoever, perhaps it's not yet implemented.

Game does well without any major bug, so at least it's playable.

Overall it's a nice try but still need more concept polishing. Good luck and I wish you the best.

The concept of war game in Neo Jakarta is interesting. But there's one or two things that need to be polished, especially on the UI/UX.

-The cursor doesn't tell the player where the marble will go when I clicked on it. I assume the marble will go to the direction of the cursor when I clicked on it (Since it's kind of the common sense of billiard game). But it doesn't lol. I wasted 1st player turn just to see my marble flying out of the screen doing nothing.

-Backstory should be put on the different menu, you only need to show it once on "start game" mode. When I tried to play more of the game, the story showed itself again and it's kinda boring.

-I don't really mind the unpolished scene such as the end of the game, VFX, or after game menu. However there're essential things that you guys need to polish even in alpha/beta test.

Good luck on the competition! I think this game have potential, however, a proper adjustment need to be done.

Not an exciting concept.
I played this game solo just to test it out, and it's not good.
I actually found a bug where you can keep holding the left mouse button instead of simply clicking it to make the marble accelerate after I shoot it.

The text needs a much needed proofread, both in the game and on the game's page.

The game itself doesn't really make it clear that you're supposed to click outside of the circle boundary to shoot the marbles inside of it. On that note, aiming and shooting to the outside of the boundary is possible for some reason.

The instructions state that I can use the right click to use a skill, but right-clicking does nothing. I might be missing something though.

The game seemingly decides who won the match as soon as all of one player's marble is out of the boundary, while the marbles are still moving.
The game's physics needs some tweaking. The marbles slide way too easily on the playing field(is it supposed to be made from ice?).

Overall, a lot of work needs to be done. But I wish you luck!

Thank you, it's because for right click it's suppose appears "Sign" extra strength and pointer depending teams but due time limits, for now only mechanical appears and the sign didn't show it all, and yes we plan to continue this project even we lost or win.

Okay, I hope the team can continue working on the game.
For what it's worth, the concept itself is not bad, it just needs better execution
