Briefly explain your games interpretation of the theme?
We thought about using "explore" with the mechanics of evolving and capturing creatures, like Pokémon.
So the player needs to explore the map to find the vegetables and also fights to evolve his vegetables.

Other comments (Code / Art / Sound / Audio)
The sfx was made in "https://sfxr.me/", I don't know if this is considered creation or use of pre made sfx hahaha.
Did you enjoy the jam? Is there anything you'd change if you could start over?
it was super fun. I've wanted to make a game with this mechanic for a long time.
Aren't you awesome for being creative and taking part?
Give details of any purposefully added accessibility considerations in your game
Unfortunately I don't think we put anything exclusively for accessibility.
What we tried to do is to put as few buttons as possible

Hey! really loved the silly different veggiemon, they all had great personality and it must have been fun designing them. You did good to recreate a lot of the pokemon combat mechanics. Obviously it would be enhanced if there were different types of attacks available, as it did become a bit of "attack" spam. Also, in order to win I had really grind out - so in ideal world would have been better if there was a bigger world / story so it felt less obviously grindy.
I was determined to see if they evolved, but sadly I don't think evolution made it into the game :( However, Limective did carry us to victory!
I stayed up last night to beat it. More fun than I was expecting. Loved the art and creature names.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! :D
Really nice art style and idea!
Thanks :D
