Thank you! I had a feeling that I won't have time to add sound so I instead polished the game as I progressed through the implementation
Curious if you made the art yourself cause if so great job!
Some of it is made by me, some was remade to have the same number of pixels and some is used from better pixel artists than myself
All in all, pretty fun game ! The only thing I dislike is the complete lack of sound. Otherwise, great job !

Great project! This might be a silly suggestion, but it felt like most every time I entered a room, it was always 2 waves of enemies. Are there ever rooms that spawn without enemies? Or with just one wave or one type of enemy? I think that would make each room feel more like a surprise :D

I actually implemented the spawning system to take as parameter the number of waves. But I forgot to make it random xD
There are 3 rooms that don't have enemies: starting room, shop room, spike room
I really like the art style here, and the gameplay is pretty fun. Some more mechanics (like a dash or different attacks) would make the game really good (sorry if that's in there and i just didn't get far enough). Overall a fun, polished game.

I planned on adding different types of infusions for the staff like fire, water, ice, etc, but ran out of time
