You absolutely nailed the theme and limitation!
I was fully invested in the story and feverishly completed each segment to get to the next dialog. Really well done and I honestly have to say this has been my favorite experience of the jam.
My only real critique is that the gameplay portions were missing a sense of danger or any sort of threat. That being said, it can also go with the theme that it’s an unstoppable growth.

Loved it! I thought it restarted at one point but I was wrong and loved the next part of the game.
Cool concept, nice balance between the story line and the action sequences. Great job!
This looks like a really cool game! For some reason whenever I try running it on my browser, when I press the "Grow" button everything just crashes. I'm not sure what that's about but overall looks like a really good game.
