I like driving and drifting on water, The bit where the police showed up was interesting. Maybe that section could be longer and involve the other racers, too (I didn't see them on the tracks, but I did still have a ranking during that part so I don't know if they're there). I'm also a bit confused at a certain intersection where there's no sign telling me if I should turn there or at the next one. It doesn't tell me to get back on track whether or not I make a turn there.
Thanks for playing and for the feedback! I thought that I put the arrows at every turn but I'll go back through and figure out where you're talking about. Was the intersection in the first, second or third level?
So I want the police section to be kind of a time trial bit and I felt having the other racers and the police would be a bit much. In the build I'm currently working on there's a time limit and if you run out of time it'll restart the level.
It's the first track. There were two intersections where I could turn right in my visible range.
Cool, thanks! I'll try to make it more clear!
Really cool idea! Feels nice and smooth for such quick development, looking forward to seeing where it goes in the polish jam.
Pretty solid. The police are a little to fast and would often push me around, and it seemed there was no lose condition if they caught up to me. I really like the underwater part though, it looks really cool. I also like the buildings on the main track. Definitely could use music and sound effects. For the robot voice, I would recommend giving it a little bit of reverb to make it sound less flat. Maybe in the future you can find a voice actor who can voice the lines, and you can place a radio effect over it. Overall, it was a pretty neat experience.
Thank you so much for the great feedback! And for playing the game! That's a really good idea on the voice, I've got several friends that have offered to do voice acting so I might send them the lines this week and see what they give me.
