Game Description
Control a bunch of goblins using coins as a way to motivate them. Get through the levels to find the dragon's treasure!

How does your game tie into the theme?
With the art, I chose to use goblins as the characters, and dragons, who in folktales both love gold and in the case of dragons, abundantly wealthy.

Enjoyable game with an interesting mechanic.

This mechanic is very original! I really enjoyed the game. The music and art fit very well with the style, and I think there is a very good job in the level designs, but perhaps the last level is too easy to be the last.

Great job! :D

Cool game! The core idea is really nice and there's so much room to expand here.

Very fun!

Developer

Hey Kalistaja! Thanks for playing, yea maybe I can make a twist on it sometime in the future. I would love to spend more time crafting levels, because I think thats where the true fun of the mechanic shines.

A really good game with cool mechanic. Enjoyed it.

One of the issues was that when you try to place coins inside rocks, they bug out a little bit.

Also, I didn't really get the theme. The name of the game has dragons in it, but... there are no dragons in the game. Would be cool if there was more explanation of the story.

Otherwise, though short, a really cool game. I think it could be expanded and become a really great game!

Developer

Yea I really wish I had more time to add cutscenes for the story, but I just got so stuck fixing the vision cones for the goblins. I think next time I'm gonna try pathfinding nodes instead of worrying too much about vision cones. Thanks for playing RieBi!

I did quite enjoy luring the little gobbos to their goal, its like a less deadly version of Lemmings. All it needed was some kind of sound effect for when they inevitably have a close encounter of the spiky kind...

Developer

Hey Pete! yea I wish I added some more sounds to the game, but in the spirit of game jams, I did them mostly last minute ;). Thanks for playing!

Heyyy ! I realy enjoyed this little game, the sounds effects are incredible, the gameplay is so cool too the only thing i miss is the possibility to manage volume, it's a bit loud but that's not really a problem when you are really into the game, keep going !

Thanks for checking it out Lauiss! Next time I'll try to have a template for the main menu and settings so I don't have to spend so much time making it :D.

Got to the end of the game.
I like that you need to control the characters by giving them gold to follow, specially when there's multiple characters and you need to micromanage them else they just do as they please.

That's why I'm not too convinced on having to press space to make them jump manually, I'm sure there's a better solution.

Developer

Hey Andrew, Thanks for the feedback! Yea I went back and forth on the idea of manual jumping, but I think you are right. When I originally decided to let the player decide when the goblins jumped, I thought it would be nice if the player had another thing to do. After I was working on the last few levels though, the jumping mechanic definitely felt gimmicky.
