Game Description
A basic tetris and puyo clone.
How does your game tie into the theme?
I had ideas and inspiration for incorporating it, but unfortunately wasn't able to execute any tie-in. Feel free to skip rating this game! I'm just happy to submit something playable :)

Really interesting combination there of the two, really liked how it plays and feels, a lot.
Even without enough time to put more, I think what you have here by itself is great actually, nice job on this!
Fine, but lacks full screen mode.
Also explanation of what tetris, puyo, and combined modes mean.
Other than that, cool game, though nothing really relating to folklore theme or to make the player stick to it.
Adding a campaign could be a nice thing.
Like, a story had been told that once cubes would conquer all the world, and nothing would stop them. You need to build a wall to prevent cubes from conquering the world. And more and more.
ALSO, being able to rotate in both sides would be a benefit. As well as change the level size, because the default one is quite small.
It's a classic game, but I don't really see much folklore in the game.
I think with some sound effects and music it would be cool.
but in general the art, animations and mechanics are well polished
Nice work :D
As far as I know, you are not allowed to mention "Tetris" in your game without a licence. The Puyo-Combined version is interesting and the filter looks interesting too, but I'm afraid that Tetris is not really "folklore". Music also seems to be missing.
It makes me think about how it relates to the theme but I like the visuals and aesthetic of the game. It's an interesting idea to combine Tetris and Puyo-Puyo which are both my favouite childhood games.
I wish at least we had some sfx attached!
I can kind of see what you were thinking for the theme, so I gave you some points. The gameplay overall was fun though! I've never played puyo before
Loved the visuals, but there was nothing relating to theme of the jam within the game.
