How does your submission match the theme?
⁃ Each mechanic in the game has at least two purposes.
⁃ Jumping will bounce you up as well as cause rocks to fall.
⁃ Dashing will boost you forward, allowing you to avoid falling rocks, catch up to the screen, and kill enemies.
⁃ The environment can be used to slow you down.

Neat game! I included it in my Game Maker Toolkit’s Game Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Interesting mechanic that shows promise, the platforming isn't as tight as hoped for though. Would've thought that landing hard on the surface would cause rocks to fall rather than when launching yourself for a jump which is a minor nitpick, otherwise it really follows the theme. Needs some sound FX.

Thanks so much Phantom! It was my first try doing a super fast runner like this, it definitely needs to be a bit more precise. I only had about 8 hours to do the jam though (hence the lack of SFX), so all things considered I'm really glad you enjoyed it.
Have a great day!
