Is this game actually winnable? Because we got through seemingly all of the destructible parts of the map and couldn't find a way to progress after awhile.

How does your submission match the theme?
I made this for GMTK 1 the theme was mechanics that had multiple purposes. you can see this in three areas. guarding in battle will let you take less damage and it heals you. the Shop is also the Inn and save point. and last the spells open new areas and let you use magic in the battles.

I used RPG Maker MV for this project. The music, tile sets, and sprites except for the main character are theirs.
