I played before reading the instructions and got confused: why would I not shoot always? In retrospect, it seems Iām the luckiest cowboy, because I managed to kill multiple opponents in the first shot and never once I failed to kill them before running out of the 3 chances š
So one thing to improve would be to make that information clear in the game: you can only fire three times per opponent. Something like an ammo counter decreasing by each try. It would add to the suspenseful vibes!
And also maybe faking the random to make it less probable to be able to kill on the first tries could be a thing to avoid very very lucky plays such as mine haha.
