Thanks so much to everyone who has posted! I'ma try and implement all of the feedback and hopefully improve the game.
It was fun taking different paths and seeing how the die would react! The simple aesthetics work great.
I think it would have been nice to add a timer and an end screen showing you your time.
Good work for your first game jam!
Amazing for first jam! Here are a few suggestions that might improve it: fixing jumping out of the map (unless intentional), have the modifier change a bit more often. But still, this is incredible and deserves more attention!
"I believe I can fly. I believe I can touch the sky!"
Really good for your first game jam. Awesome job!
The speed/acceleration stuff felt and looked right. I liked the series of 3 boosts at the end that send you flying.
Very nice game! I really like how the camera is left behind during surges of speed. We actually do something similar in our game but not to this extreme. Fits the game really well. I especially liked the box collider, makes it fun that you bounce around at each landing.
Also… Superb choice of name ;)
The environment and physics controls makes the game feel wobbly in a really good way! The aesthetic is nice, and the modifiers all give a significant impact. Perhaps the only issue is that the map is not large enough, and that obstacles are too small. Other than that, really well done!
Was a fun experience finding out the best ways to accelerate, and the map had a good difficulty :)
Would have wished for the modifiers to play a bigger role during gameplay and change throughout the level, otherwise great fun game!
Great feeling of speed, but the modifiers don’t have a lot of influence on the game
Hey thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I kind of overscoped so I know that system feel a bit half baked. I wanted to have the modifiers stack across levels, so they'd gradually affect it more, but as you can see I only got around to making one level lol.
btw just gave it a try and your game is pretty very great.
very fun, I like speed
