This is a really cool basis for a deckbuilder. At the moment it feels like healing is very weak (since adding heal dice dilutes your chance to hit on attacks). Maybe having new symbol cards replace old die faces with better ones (e.g. 2 hearts, 2 swords, 1 heart and 1 sword) would make upgrading other symbols feel worth it?

Developer

Yes, definitely flopped on the balancing aspect. But Glad you enjoyed it!

i love the effects and the enemy descriptions. i wish the starting hand would reset every encounter though. the instructions page could be improved too (e.g. more contrast between the background and the symbols, show card examples maybe and maybe a better overall layout) but the mechanics are easy to grasp as you play anyway. great job!

It's a neat concept! I found the mechanics a bit counter-intuitive at first. But once I figured it out, the interplay between drawing cards and rolling dice made for a nice bit of decision-making.
