Horror-wise, it's quite nice. I like the sound design, and I think you had a lot of fun assigning them. The guns feel nice to aim and shoot, and the spiders are very creepy-looking, too.
Still, I have some nitpicks. I think there was not much balancing; the character feels too heavy and sluggish, the gun phase through wall, and the enemies are too quick to handle. Also, having more objectives (like some missions while escaping) would be a nice addition, too.
Overall, a very good job of whipping all of this up within 48 hours. It was enjoyable, and I understand that making a 3D-based game is hard to handle with all of its components. Great job on finishing the jam!
Hello namesake. Interesting idea to have the weapons randomized. Unfortunately I missed a lot of player feedback with this game. In my opinion, there is also a design flaw here: I want to get a high kill count, but I have to keep looking for new weapons because I have limited ammo. I also think that the enemies are too fast. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the game. The Banana Gun was the coolest moment in the game.
Hi! Thank you so much for reviewing my game! I can tell the game is difficult, but I was kind of in a hurry as you can probably tell. The limited ammo is intentional by the way. Anyways, thank you again for reviewing my game! This is my first game jam that I've joined. I had a lot of fun programming and play testing along the way. Again, thank you SO much!
For your first jam, this is impressive. Good job!
