Very cool idea! The shop with powerups were a nice touch. Occasionally the enemies would roll into me and kill themselves, but the fact that you had AI making decisions there is really cool! Music was pleasant too. Very fun!

If you planned to keep refining this, I'd think about preventing the player from rolling into an enemy and killing themselves. It's a gameplay choice for sure, not a problem per-say just a quality of life thing I suppose. I also think with a bit more refinement, the AI could ramp up to be very challenging and force the player to be more conscious of what number they leave face up.

I love the art style and overall aesthetic of this game. It could use a bit more polish, especially  with there being no input for when you buy something except for the counter going down, so maybe adding some "bought" noise or confirmation screen would be nice. The instructions were clear and simple which made a great first impression on me the first time I opened up the game. I think that some twists on the idea would make for a great post-jam game.  Overall great game though!

For some reason, the install instructions only show up on the default version of the submission, not the game jam version. If you are on mac, you have to run these commands to open the game. You do not have to run these on Windows (I don't think the second one would even work lol)

sudo chmod -R 755 /path/to/app.
sudo xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /path/to/app
