How does your game fit the theme?
You roll the dice to determine your values. These then influence whether you are a good or a bad salesman. We based our idea on Pen & Paper and DnD.

Great stuff! It took awhile to find some jams that used randomness with known odds, similar to how dice actually work. Love all the dialogue options, and the special interactions for crits was great!

Thank you for playing and reviewing our submission! =D
Nice to hear that you enjoyed the dialogues and appreciated the known odds <3

This was so much fun.  Partly because I read the instructions and instantly forgot them :)  I forgot to improve my stats at the beginning.  After failure after failure I was loving it!  I actually thought that was "winning".  Being really bad at my job, finding new ways to annoy the customers... I had a blast!  Seriously, I laughed out loud!  And people never do that :)  Then I upgraded my stats and started having happy customers.... I still enjoyed it but...  I really loved reading about my earlier failures.  Maybe there could be another version of the game when good people try to do their job and your power is to screw with their day.  Maybe I'm a bit sadistic but that was a lot of fun!  Don't judge me :)

Developer

Hahaha I totally get why you liked the failures and would never judge you for that xD
Originally we planned on creating a bigger and bigger chaos with each failure but we knew that we couldn't do that in 50h so we had to scope it down and ended up with this^^"
While we already have a main project we're working on, I'm pretty sure we will add some chaos to this project from time to time to vent a little xD
Thank you so much for playing and having fun with it! <3

Hahaha good thing we don't have to roll the dice in real life for that xD
Thank you very much for playing^^

Cool presentation. I like all the assets used.
It is a little to understand what you have to do .. why sometime you get a succes and other time it is a failure

Developer

Thank you!^^
Yeah, Synty assets are just so nice, simple and performant - exactly what we needed for this jam =)
Sorry to hear that it was hard to understand. We didn't manage to squeeze in a tutorial in time^^"
Basically your attributes determine your skills and those determine the highest value you can roll to still get a success. Everything above your skill will be a failure. So, higher skills mean less failures =)
