Loving the movement!

Such a cool idea! The dashes are so fun. I'm watching Zeta Gundam at the moment so it's awesome to see a mecha game.

The movement feels very good and music is sick!

God daaaaaaaaamn was it fun to move around. It took me a bit to get used to the difference between the boost jump and the dash jump given the dash jump actually gave me the height I needed for a lot of things but it's just bloody satisfying to move around in as well as being an insanely creative take on a mech game where the mech is defending you from bigger, scarier threats while you're just a little guy. Really makes you FEEL like you're not BUILT to the right SCALE to take on this challenge safely hahaha... I'll see myself out.

This was such a blast! I like the paradigm of not being the big guy with the gun, but instead the cloak and dagger that minimizes infrastructural damage in a crisis. Why be like a Marvel hero, force-feeding bad guys concrete and glass, when you can instead be a rocket-powered search-and-destroy speed demon?
The only thing this was missing was some method of building up speed. The only way I could get my clear was by adapting a sweep and clear approach in a circle around the playspace, when I really wanted to have the ability to go from POI to POI. Getting up into the air was always a thrill, but having a few options on how to land (slide ability, glide, sharper descent) would bring it all together. Definitely my favorite title so far!

What a pleasant surprise it was to see the guy from raw metal in the logo- no idea you guys had joined the jam!

Very ambitious and fun jam game. Bit rough around the edges, but the main controls were solid and the rest of the game was more than cool enough to make up for it. The little flavor voice clips between the badger and mongoose added a lot!

Main pain point was definitely the bomb finding, though I think you guys were aware considering the timer was 20 minutes! Even just a bit more information would've been really helpful, like a cue on relative height, or maybe a sonar ping with a long cool down when I'm desperate, some other audio or visual cue or effect...something! The samey looking buildings also didn't help, but only so much you can do in 4 days of course...maybe at least a few color variations or something?
The mini spinny guys also jumpscared me a few times, but easy enough to not aggro or even outmaneuver once you got the hang of things.

It was fun to jump around the city and try to evade enemy fire! It would really go crazy with a few more movement options or ways to interact with the environment, but certainly works well enough as is. Maybe at the very least a way to quick drop to help with juking occasionally? And I realllly wish i could've ran through the legs of the mechs.

Dropping Badger on the enemy mechs was also probably my favorite part.

Overall, awesome entry, easily one of my faves here.

I kept failing the objective because I was just having too much fun moving around. Awesome work, moving around felt so good. And a sidekick mech is just a fun idea.

Some really nice stuff here. I had one of the cooler moments in any of the jam games I've played where I was being shot at by two mechs, I dashed, jumped, and dashed mid air to make it around a corner of a building to avoid being hit. Thought the overall vibe, etc was cool, especially radio-ing in the attacks to the friendly mech. A lot of personality packed in there. I'm probably just a really dumb guy, but I couldn't manage to get the mortar strike to actually kill any of the mechs and it was very hard to find the bombs.

Really cool game! Moving around is very fun and satisfying, the size of environments and mechas do feel pretty good too! Though finding the bombs is a bit too confusing, the beeps don't beep hard enough, and those small blade robots do come out of nowhere too fast. But I still liked it a lot, nice to see more mecha games, great job and good luck getting more ratings!
