Pretty cool concept!

Could use a little more explanation though, as it took me a bit to get the actual sample bit before I was able to start trying to match correctly.

I was very confused by which samples I needed to find? I tried matching colours, then vague geometry with E-shaped stuff but never got anywhere. Cool concept and pretty game though.

Hey, thanks for giving it a shot!

So the way it works is you need to match the shape AND color if the requested samples, and each planet type has two distinct colors of sample that spawn there.

Also, each planet spawns every shape in both of it's primary colours, so if you can learn which planet spawns the bright orange shapes, you'll always be able to find the bright orange samples that you need by looking there.

I hope that helps!

Hey thanks for the explanations, I gave it another shot and did manage collect some samples!

I think part of what confused me is that if you are targeting a sample, but not zoomed in enough (fully?), pressing E again will zoom rather than collect even if there is the targeting reticle around the sample. Some shapes are also more distinct than others (the letter lookings one are way easier than the polygons). Whatever it was, once you get a grip on it then it becomes way more doable and pretty fun!

Such a good idea, really enjoyed it. Pretty hard but once I realized the samples can be found on different planets it went pretty well.

Cool name as well!

Thanks! Really happy you enjoyed it!

Very good idea! Good job. please try my game:)

It took me a playthrough to figure out that the different samples could be found by color by the color of the planets. Very tricky! I never got positive points but I had zero once.

You're currently beating my friend's score of -3!

Glad you spotted the planet palette pointers! I considered writing something about it on the description or title screen, but thought that sometimes it's nice for the player to feel like they unlocked some knowledge through play :D
