good job using inception as a driver for the theme! we originally thought of using it and iterated over some ideas for a while, but ended up ditching it entirely. as soon as I destroyed my first outer asteroid I smiled haha
I do have a slight problem - I'm not sure if it's a thing with my ultrawide monitor or what but I had a really hard time seeing what was up outside my square. But boy does it feel satisfying when you align a shot
Yeah, this game has some issue with scaling on something different from 16/9. But I'm glad you had fun!
I really like your twist on Asteroids! Sometimes I find myself unable to destroy a big asteroid, as I depend on the randomness of the small asteroids' spawns, but it's fine as I can replay infinitely!
Now whe you say about it, making a spawn of small asteroid calculated to be in right place to shoot big asteroids will make game more fun and skill based. I will try to implement it when jam ends.
Love the idea, and great execution! It was definitely quite difficult and had a bug where meteors would randomly rocket into the square, but for style and concept this is a certified banger.
Thanks for review. I'm aware of this bug, but unfortunately I haven't figured out how to fix it completely. This is what I was talking about when I wrote about unpredictable physics. I'll try to fix it after jam.
It took me a little bit to realize what was going and to figure out what was possible on but this is a really clever twist on Asteroid. Very cool! While I'm pretty bad at the game I quite like it!

Well, for me or wasn't really a bad thing. It was a kinda fun discovery when I realised that you could move the box around and that there were separate life bars. I think most players will eventually figure out the mechanics when they play for a while.
