How does your game fit the theme?
In this platformer you play as a Slime that morphs into different forms to change shape and scale (and gain new powers) in order to complete the task in front of you. You must scale appropriately in order to scale the tower (Unfortunately there is a collision error preventing you from finishing the last two jumps and reaching the finish, but I hope you will enjoy the journey until you reach a wall jump with an invisible ceiling)

Nice and fun! I was pleasantly surprised to get checkpoints at key moments, that avoided a lot of frustration and kept me playing for a while.
The controls are a bit hard to get used to and that makes the game very technical pretty quickly. It might have been easier to use a controller, but I understand not prioritizing that since the jam required the game to be playable with a keyboard and mouse.
All in all that’s a fun concept and it clicked with me, I had a great time. Congrats for your submission!
Nice effort! A bit too complex for me I think. Not sure why you couldnt use wasd / arrows & space to move around, and mouse wheel to change scale for instance.
Thanks for the feedback, I initially had a system like that with left and right clicking to cycle through forms and a traditional wasd plus space movement, but in play testing I found it difficult to execute fast sequences and it makes it so some forms can't be combined as easily because they are a few clicks/scrolls apart. I think the current system is a bit less intuitive initially but works better once you get accustomed to it. If I had more time I would probably add an option for different control schemes depending on user preference.
Fun game! A bit tricky as well, which I like. There's a lot of fun you can do with that type of mechanic. I also didn't run into any bugs. There were some things I could comment on. My main problem was the controls. I think it would have been better to keep space bar as the jump button for all shapes. Since it's one of the main buttons you use to move around, it gets a bit messy in the head trying not only find the right buttons to change shape, but also to jump. Another one were also that some parts it would be nice if you could either move the camera down manually a bit, or if there are some placed out "camera zones" where the camera will move automatically to let the player see below better, because when I needed to drop down, I didn't really know what was there and kinda had to fall first time in order know what to do.
I think the level was good. When I got to the point where I needed to figure out which shapes to use in what order I felt challenged and really wanted to get past all the obstacles, which is great. I think I got the point where there was a collision error and couldn't get further, otherwise I would have kept going and try finish the game. Great job on the game! keep it up :)
The slime reminds me of a junimo!
