How does your game fit the theme?
Since the player is a sorcerer, they must tinker and refine their magic arts, both for the mental challenge and the practical needs to either keep enemies at bay or grind them and get more XP faster. They must build and modify their wands and their mana to be able to scale and confront the increasing resilience and number of enemies.

Really enjoyed this one!! Love main wand concept. It's an excellent addition to the survivors genre, especially as a fan of The Binding of Isaac and Noita. The enemy waves also felt 'fair', not too easy, not too hard.

I didn't fully understand the Mana concept, my mana would get larger and larger even if I dropped my spells and went for a more simple wand setup, so every now and then my wand would stop firing for a very long period of time until it recharged the entire large mana number which didn't feel right.

The control scheme didn't feel very natural, no need to reinvent the wheel in this department. Arrow Keys + ZXC or WASD + Shift Control Space would have helped.

All in all an extremely promising concept, worthy of being developed for a full release.

Always love the surival horde games. The sound effects crunch well! Stacking the wand to do some crazy attacks was satisfying as well. Was not sure why my wand would stop working and it took me waaaaaay too long to figure out how to unlock my mouse (was facing one direction for like half my playthrough). Also, not sure if the level has bounds but I think I ended up seeing the the default game-engine background for 2D games :P

Either way, good stuff!

Omg I love this game! So satisfying to play, and a nice idea too. One thing I don't get is how the mana mechanic works – usually it fills up immediately, but at some point it starts regenerating at normal speed, and you have to wait for it to fill up for a bit, especially on a high level.

I felt the magical vibe :)

great Idea and fun for a short time, but lacks a number of mechanics or the long run. nice game : )

The art style is nice! I love the MS Paint vibe it has. As far as gameplay it's pretty simple, but nice. I didn't quite get the reason for picking up the branches, it just seemed to make my wand longer and it only ever gave me 2 beams from the wand. There were a couple moments when my mana had to recharge slowly but when I was full mana I would shoot a beam, but then recover all my mana instantly? So I didn't fully understand the point of having mana if the shots go off every second anyway. All enemies only ever took one hit to kill except in the first 30 seconds I think, so there wasn't much tension as far as kiting enemies. All in all, decent game, would love to see some more iterations after more playtesting, I think it is a great idea!

I like this simpler spin on the vampire survivors concept. With just one weapon, it's cool to see how the build actually develops in its own special ways, it would be interesting to see this with more different types of upgrades. Also I love how the wand gets longer every upgrade, pretty silly.
