Quality over quantity. this game has a lot of stuff: mechanics, places, items, etc. But the end product is quite boring. Not gonna lie, the art and sounds are amazing for a jam game, but the price of items doesn’t make sense, if you are using price as a way to ensure you can’t get a strong item early, make sure you can’t get that price.. for example the first thing I did was climb to the top, get the 50 scales, then bought whatever I wanted. I like the fact that you went with the climbing meaning of scaling, and even included scales as a currency! Pretty cool

Overall, nice entry, has a lot of strong points, the art, the sounds, the size, just tone it down and focus on perfecting few stuff instead next time.

I got into the big amber room and was trapped like Anasten27 said. There should be some way to reset to the bottom of the well. The style of this game is great and it has a very interesting sense of story. I'm not sure if it's intentional but dying and then seeing these brief glimpses of places in the game is great. There's a lot of potential here, I think it was stretched thin a bit by trying to add more instead of polishing the first bits of the game. Great art by james.art.1. I think the audio could've used variety on the jump and a bit more interesting music score. The ambient sound design is nice.

I got to the big room with the red scale and got trapped there :( I couldn't exit the room and there was no star to teleport me out. I didn't have enough upgrades to get all the scales (some were too high up). Is that a bug or was I missing something? I tried to interact with stuff and run around, but nothing happened.

I enjoyed the rest and the artwork is cute. Also, I accidentally closed the game (tWICE) cause I kept forgeting to exit the shop with E instead of ESC. Had to restart from zero there TvT
