I've been wondering for a while how to make a tower defense game that was more involved than just finding the right sequence of towers to win. I think this is a big step in the right direction. Great work!

It would have been nice to be able to place towers after each wave, since right now it's a bit frustrating to get so many coins in each level and have no chance to use them. Other than that, this is really good!

Awesome game, the leveling system is a really good idea. It makes the game feel unique in a fairly saturated genre. Being able to make use of different parts of the levels was also cool. If you keep working on the game it might be cool to have some parts of the level shift or some design where the player has to really make use of the destructible walls. Also it seems like there were a couple bugs (tooltip doesn't show sometimes on a merged turret, I think it fixes after it moves and in the last level it seems like it spawned in a bunch of extra turrets) but I think its a really fun game and I think you could do quite a bit if you feel like continuing work after the jam.

Thanks for playing! I wanted to add some more features to make it more fun and add more strategy because sitting back and watching your towers do all the work might become boring, but I had to make it that way for the theme to make sense. I also don't know why that bug appears on the last level, its a really weird one but at least its not game breaking.
